Fred is a beautiful boy, rivaling Ginger with his deep reds and bright oranges. Fred has a classic build, with a large triangular head and stocky well-muscled body. Fred lives in the office and keeps me company as I work on the computer. He lays in his hammock watching me as I type and talks to him; cocking his head at times as if he understands what I am saying or is wondering what I am doing. Fred loves his salad. Sometimes I have to refill his bowl as he will eat all of it and then look at me as if to say, “Hey Mom where’s the seconds”. I am looking forward to seeing the babies he and Ginger will produce next year when they are old enough to breed.
